The personnel problem exists everywhere, including in countries with very high unemployment rates. Finding the perfect employee is getting harder and harder every year. Some companies create huge HR departments that deal with this issue.

The employer cannot always formulate exactly what an employee who fully meets his requirements should be. I managed to talk to the head of our HR department and find out some of the key qualities that their department pays attention to during the interview. 

She says that in the past, employees used to rely only on their technical skills (hard skill), but this is becoming insufficient in the modern world, although it continues to be key in the list of requirements. The personal qualities of a good employee are approximately the same for different organizations, only their priorities differ. 

For our IT company, soft-skills priorities are as follows: responsibility, diligence, ability to work in a team, desire to learn new things, time management skills, sociability, diligence, honesty, ability to get along with the team. 

I also heard an important rule from a colleague: even if a person is suitable in all respects, but on a personal level he is unpleasant to you — you do not need to take a candidate. Most likely, it will not be possible to build a great work with such a colleague anyway.]]></submitted_answer>
