Do you agree that a brand is more important than quality?

There is a point of view that brand is more important than quality. Other people think that this is wrong. In this essay both points of view will be highlighted.
First of all, it is important to mention, than nowadays a brand name costs much more than a quality. For example, luxurious brand's clothes costs a fortune whereas the quality of it quite poor.
Moreover, due to economic situation there is a extensive growth of local brands that are cheaper, but quality is much better than mass-market and middle market clothes have.
On the other hand, brand gives you a feeling of being a part of heritage and shows person's loyalty.
To sum up, it can be seen that brand and quality are both important. Some people would prefer quality to brand, but other will pay a lot of money just for a brand name on a bag or a T-shirt.

Is your corporate culture profit oriented, or rather concerned by ethical choices?

In my opinion, corporate culture in my company is more profit oriented rather than concerned by ethical choices.
Firstly, ethic really makes sense to FMCG and clothes companies, which main focus is to produce real products. Production requires a lot of people, enormous factories and even child labour can be seen somewhere. In such places company should be more ethically oriented.
When we talk about IT and intellectual property, we do not talk about high-temperature at factories, exhaust fumes. It is about intellectual work that should be encouraged by perks, comfortable offices. Intellectual products are created to make people's lives better. And in this case profit goes to the first focus of the company.
Products produced by my company should create "safer future". It is our slogan. But the main focus, as I can see, is on profit.]]></submitted_answer>
