How can we get out of the 'make-taste-waste-society'?

According to the current statement, we all belong to a consumer society. As marketing is at the forefront of everything. Although, there are several solutions to avoid this strategy.

In order to avoid waste, we should reduce the packaging and wrapping. Also, we have to replace the large consumption of new goods to just by restoring the old ones. Although, now there are a lot of workshops are starting to appear, and they offer repairs to old things instead of buying new ones. Repair rather than replace. In this case, they should use less and educate people to do it in proper way. However, trying to use less paper, for example, switch to digital version of information as much as possible. Due to this way, we can show people a different concept of using things for avoiding waste.

One more strategy is sharing things. For example, cars, bicycles, clothes, household appliances and others. Share rather than own individually. You don't need to buy new and expensive goods if you will consume already used items.

Why does retention trump talent acquisition?

Taking into account that HR leaders are prioritizing retention over hiring new talents, we can see absolutely different situation at this area inside the HR Policy of the company.

In addition, the reducing turnover is a very important for the top-management's KPIs.

What's more, nowadays, the companies invest significantly more into retention of talented employees than they have in the past.

What is important is that we can grow talented managers from our owns employees. As a result of this process, we will have manifestation of the loyalty to the company from employees.
